Finale launches extensive new trail map featuring e-bike climbs

Finale Outdoor Resort is a mountain biker’s paradise – and a new map will open up more trails in the region than ever before, including e-bike climbing trails.

Featuring in excess of 120 marked mountain bike specific trails, the new map also features some dedicated uphill trails that have been specifically designed for e-bikes, in a first for Italy. With e-bikes growing in popularity, a decision was made not to divide the trails completely, but simply create some directional trails where e-bikes could be used to their full advantage on the uphills. This means e-bikes can get the most out of the extensive trail network having fun on the way up, and down.

The new map also details areas that have never been documented before, including the Eastern region around Spotorno and also to the Western area of Pietra Ligure.

The map covers trails of all levels, from beginners right through to some of the most technically and physically demanding race stages. Finale has famously hosted the Enduro World Series (EWS) every year since its inception in 2013, and the new map features every single stage the series has raced over the last six years. Released to coincide with this weekend’s EWS race, the Bluegrass FinalEnduro powered by SRAM, which sees 500 of the world’s greatest riders descend upon the town for the annual celebration of cycling.

Designed and produced by the Finale Bike Hotel Association, a local organisation that helps fund trail development, maintenance and promotion of mountain biking in the area. About 30 percent of the hotels in Finale are signed up to the scheme, which has helped turn Finale into one of Europe’s most iconic resorts.
